Essay & Supplements

Students are advised to begin working on their college essays in the spring of their junior year. This plan, which covers the main application essay and any school-specific supplements, provides complete support for the writing process, from brainstorming through drafting* to submission.

Your student can expect:

• Individual attention to reduce stress and manage anxiety

• Brainstorming exercises to identify their most important life experiences

• Thoughtful questions and suggested edits to improve and strengthen their writing

*For up to seven drafts of each piece of writing​

Complete Package

This package combines the Comprehensive and Essay & Supplements plans.

Senior Year Push

For the 12th-grader who needs support to get their applications across the finish line.

Your student can expect:

• Up to 15 College Counseling Sessions*

• Complete guidance for submitting their applications

• Support to finalize their main college essay and any school-specific supplements

• Advice on admissions deadlines and decisions

*Any additional sessions will be charged an hourly rate​

Transfer Plan

For the college student who wants to complete their college education at another institution.

Your student can expect:

• Up to 12 College Counseling Sessions*

• Complete guidance for completing and submitting their applications

• Support for the transfer application writing process

*Any additional sessions will be charged an hourly rate​

College Counseling Sessions

For families who anticipate seeking Darren's insight and expertise on an as-needed basis. Available in 1-, 3-, 5-, and 10-hour packs.*

*The more sessions you commit to, the lower the hourly rate.
